Lot #6911

This 1973 Datsun 240Z was built by the previous owner with an upgraded driveline and suspension. Finished in Marin Metallic Green, the car has been fitted with 17″ Rota wheels, a front spoiler, and rear window louvers. The inline-six displaces 2.9 liters using a 280ZX L28 block, a P90 head from a 280ZX Turbo, and many new internal components as described below. A 280Z 5-speed manual transmission sends power to a 300ZX limited-slip differential, and the suspension utilizes adjustable coilovers. The seller has added 4k miles since acquiring the car in 2016 and it was serviced with an oil change and carb adjustment last year. This 240Z was previously refurbished in 2008 before being modified from 2013-2016, and is now offered with $25k in receipts and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.

The interior was refurbished with Corbeau LG1 black cloth seats, a new dash and center console, and Dynamat has been installed under the carpets. The clock is powered by an AA battery in the glove box, and there is no air conditioning.  All interior equipment is reported to work, though the gas gauge shows 50% when the tank is full. The odometer shows 59k miles and true mileage is unknown.
