This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300GD was purchased by the seller from a European dealer in 2015 and was imported to the United States six months ago. Finished in dark green over grey, the truck is believed to have been repainted prior to the seller’s acquisition. Power comes from a 3.0L six-cylinder diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, and the truck was last serviced shortly after it was imported to the United States. Optioned with air conditioning from the factory and wearing an aftermarket set of 18″ wheels, the truck is now offered with a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
The seller believes that the truck was repainted its original dark green a few years ago, and some difference in color can be seen between the passenger door and the rest of the body. Some cracking is present on various body panels along with paint dullness on the roof, with the imperfections detailed in the gallery.
A front grille guard has been fitted to the front bumper, silver side steps are present, and a polished spare tire cover can be seen on the rear of the truck. Larger aftermarket 18″ wheels are mounted with Pirelli Scorpion tires.
The interior is believed to have been reupholstered prior to the seller’s ownership and now features two-tone black leather and grey cloth. This example features factory air conditioning that is said to blow cold.
An aftermarket Pioneer radio can be seen on the center console. All interior electronics are said to be functional including the three differential lock, with illuminated controls shown in the gallery below. Just under 158,000 kilometers (~98k miles) are shown on the odometer.
Power comes from a 3.0L six-cylinder diesel engine that is backed by a 5-speed manual transmission. No records are included in the sale, though the seller notes that the last service was completed a few months ago and included new glow plugs along with a new radiator fan clutch.
The suspension was lubricated during the seller’s ownership, and multiple undercarriage photos have been provided detailing the condition of the suspension and chassis components.
