This 1993 Porsche 928 GTS was sold new in Deer Park, New York and remained in the area until the third owner moved it to Florida from 1996-2005. The car was then brought back to Huntington, New York, where it remained until being acquired by the selling dealer a few months ago. Finished in Horizon Blue Metallic over black leather, this example has been modified with 18″ BBS wheels, a Pioneer stereo, and a few other items. The 5.4-liter DOHC V8 sends power to a rear-mounted automatic transaxle, and GTS-specific upgrades included updated bodywork and larger front brakes. Service records indicate a timing belt change in 2006, while the front struts and front upper control arm bushings were replaced in December 2014. Now showing 58,398 miles, this late model 928 is now being offered with a clean Carfax report, the factory wheels, and a clean New York title.
The 928 GTS received model-specific updated bodywork in addition to other upgrades as noted throughout the listing. The Horizon Blue Metallic paint is believed original to the car, with no known accidents and no body repairs shown on the included Carfax report.
Originally fitted with 16″ 5-spoke alloy wheels, this car is currently equipped with a set of 18″ forged BBS units that wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The original wheels have been professionally refinished and are included in the sale with new tires.
The interior is trimmed in black leather, and some creasing is visible on the bottom of the driver’s seat. A master electrical kill switch can be seen on the floor next to the driver’s seat, and an Amerex fire extinguisher is installed in front of the passenger seat.
An aftermarket Pioneer radio has been installed in place of the factory unit, and an Alpine amplifier is installed in the rear hatch area. The odometer currently shows 58,398 miles, less than 1,000 of which were added over the past two years.
Power for the 928 GTS comes from a 5.4-liter DOHC V8 that produced 345 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque from the factory. This example is equipped with a 4-speed automatic transaxle, and assorted service records are included in the sale along with maintenance history from the most recent owner. Records indicate that the timing belt was last changed in 2006, with replacement control arms fitted at the same time. New front struts and front upper control arm bushings were installed in December 2014.
Multiple undercarriage photos have been provided detailing the condition of the suspension and undercarriage.
