Such a magnificent car, mostly forgotten about. These were the luxury sedans sold next to the 300SL series cars, which have stolen the spotlight over the years. The 300D, often called "The Adenauer" (after the German Chancellor who loved the car and owned several), has perfect proportions and a grand presence. This particular car is almost entirely original, and in fine condition. We envision this being built in the ICON Derelict style, so they beautiful patina inside and out can be enjoyed. ICON owner, Jonathan Ward, had intended to keep this car as a personal project, but has decided to offer it to our clients since there is no time to build all his dream cars! This is, after all, supposed to be a business, right?
This is the end of production for the 300D, and this version is considered the most graceful by far. The pillarless doors along with the full length Webasto sunroof make for a great driving experience.
