Toyota offered the Starlet for sale in the US only through 1984. After that, it was no longer available here. But, they did keep making them overseas. This is a rare example of an EP85 1993 Toyota Starlet from Japan. It is a right hand drive JDM spec vehicle. It was owned by a senior gentlemen as a 1 owner vehicle from Matsumoto, Japan. It features Toyota’s all wheel drive, or alltrac system, delivering full time power to all four wheels. It’s mated to a 5 speed transmission and the 1.3 Liter 4E-FE engine. This is one fun little ride. It’s a blast to whip around town, or even up and down some twisties. We are always keeping an eye out for well conditioned EP85 Starlets, and in our 4 years of doing this we have only ever come across two examples that we deemed good enough to import. This is the second one we have found with the 5 speed in an all wheel drive. They are such charismatic and practical cars being able to seat 5, or carry quite a bit in the trunk. This one is finished in a blueish gray graphite (182) and the interior is finished in a nice quality cloth velour. It features the original tape deck which works wonderfully, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, AC and heat. It’s ready for a new home.
