Seller’s Description: 1943 Volkswagen Schwimmwagen for sale. This vehicle was manufactured by the German Army during World War 2 where around 15,000 examples were made. Today most of them have been destroyed and there are roughly 150 left in existence. It was orignally delivered to the Heereszeugamt Kassel division of the German Army on Nov 3rd 1943. It has just completed a 3 year full restoration by none other than Dave Crompton of Crompton and Son Restoration, the leading expert on the Vw Schwimmwagen in the USA. It has been restored to accurate historic detail. It has 2 engines that have also been restored along with it. One is a later beetle 30HP engine and the other is an original *7 series Schwimmwagen engine. Also has 2 soft tops, One Green (New) and one Tan (Older). Comes with all accessories seen in photos. The only thing that wasn't completed it the driver's side fuel tank needs to be re-sealed by a radiator shop. Fairly simple to have done.
