The 1977 Porsche 935K3 we offer here was constructed by Kremer Racing who once was as competitive as Porsche factory team in the world of racing especially in Europe and North America.

As many of you may have already known, while Porsche 935 dominated the Group 5 category in the late '70s, the one built by Kremer Racing was named the 935K3.

This example was built in 1977 and therefore called more precisely the 935K3/77 to be delivered to a customer in Germany, where it was later upgraded to 935K3/80 characterized by the distinctively-shaped rear wing.

Since the car has been homologated for FIA Group 5 category as 935K3/80 specification, it can enter any historic car races under FIA jurisdiction including Le Mans Classic as is. FIA's homologation document of more than 40 pages has been neatly filed and it shows just how carefully the car has been treated.

On top of that, this individual has been restored back into perfect condition as you can see how beautiful the sponsor logos and bright orange paint were redone, and clean engine systems. Meticulous restoration has been done on the interior; gauges, switches, buttons, and levers are placed and finished much more precisely than those of a typical race car of the time.

The fact that there is a spare engine included in the sale proves this 935K3 was born as a pure race car. It showed us what great mechanical and cosmetic condition it is in during a demo run at Fuji International Speedway on May 1st, 2016.
