It would take a special car to be a namesake to the original 356 Speedster and the 1989 Speedster was up to the task. Introduced at the 1988 Frankfort Autoshow, the 1989 edition featured 930 turbo styling with the Speedster's distinctive low cut windshield blended with some 930 turbo features. It was an immediate hit and still one of the most desirable Porsche models.

Our Speedster came to us from a Miami based collector. He owned several Porsches as well as many cars from other important Marques. This Speedster along with his 1984 Speedster were two of his favorite cars. He is an active enthusiast an all his cars are kept in show condition.

This car came out of California where it had been owned by an Alaska Airline pilot. The pilot had meticulously maintained the car as did the last owner. The car has a clean Carfax. The interior wears fresh leather and excellent carpet. The original lightly worn hides accompany the car.

We've driven the car on several occasions and it performs flawlessly. A/C, alignment, tire balance, clutch, transmission and engine are all in excellent condition. Even the tires are recent purchases.

Few Porsches are as distinctive as an 89 Speedster, there should be one in your garage.
