2017 Aston Martin DB11

The DB11 is a particularly significant car for Aston Martin. Like the DB9 which preceded it, it is the first model produced on a completely new chassis architecture. The DB9’s bonded aluminum chassis employed a modular architecture which allowed it to be produced in a variety of forms, ranging from the short wheelbase V8 Vantage up through the most recent Vanquish. This platform, referred to as the VH platform, served for more than ten years and will eventually be replaced by the new platform, the first recipient of which is the DB11.
