Backdated 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe

This 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera is a backdated example powered by a 3.2L flat-six mated to a 5-speed manual transaxle. Acquired by the owner in 2013, Avant-Garde then performed the transformation including steel long-hood body work up front and RS America door panels and custom GTS Classic R seats inside. The Carrera engine features a Steve Wong chip and SSI heat exchangers, while the 915 gearbox was rebuilt with new synchromesh and the clutch was replaced. Suspension modifications include larger hollow torsion bars, Polybronze bushings, and Bilstein Sport shocks.
