Seller’s Description: 1972 VW Super Beetle Limousine. Champagne gold with black mask around windows.Starts fine, runs fine, steers fine, stops fine. Stock 1600cc engine rebuilt in 1998. Approximately 450 miles on rebuilt engine. Brown leatherette interior. An electric glass privacy divider separates driver's compartment from rear passenger compartment. TV, stereo system, phone intercom. Stretched 4 feet in late 1980s. The Beetle Limo was used occasionally for weddings in our limousine service. While it was in use, the Beetle accumulated only about 1500 miles. Also presented in several auto shows during that period. The Beetle has approximately 300 lbs of additional structural suppsort. An upholstered roll bar between the front and rear compartments gives the body additional structural rigidity. The body is straight. No flexing. Paint is very good, tho not "mint". Tires are in very good condition. Always garaged. Will accomodate 4 medium-sized adult rear ends or about 6 little kids who're being driven to a birthday party.

Whenever she drives in town, you will see lots of wide grins and upraised thumbs. Coiuld use: 1) front struts--sometimes bounces when driving over bumpy roads, 2) new speaker grill under rear jump seat, 3) TV has power but would need digital converter box to receive local stations.
